Canadian Tech Executives Urge Skilled Immigrants to Come Here as Trump Expands US Visa Halt

Technology leaders on both sides of the Canada-US border have been weighing in on the US government’s recent moves to tighten the border, restricting the entry of highly-skilled workers.  As part of a discussion in a recent article in The Globe and Mail Report on Business, MobSquad’s CEO, Irfhan Rawji, discussed how MobSquad is helping US companies to open virtual subsidiaries in Canada in response to the recent immigration policy changes.

He also highlighted the opportunity for Canada.  “If we can use this as an opportunity to have Canada be a talent magnet for the best labour in the world, I think we come shooting out of this pandemic much stronger.”
