Canada is expected to welcome 1.5 million new residents between 2024 and 2026, as a part of the federal government’s effort to fill labour shortages and grow the economy. A new report by Business Council of Alberta, featured on the cover of the Toronto Star, identifies how thoughtful changes to immigration policy can better deliver long-term economic growth and innovation in Canada.
